Documentation - Commands

Learn how to use server commands properly.

Prefix

The prefix is set up dol. by default when the bot joins the server. The examples below will use the default prefix but you can change it in the Dashboard.

You can also use the bot mention as a prefix. Eg. @Dolphin#4366 help

How to use commands

Each category of commands has it's permissions for using them. For example an ordinary user without Ban Members permission can't ban a user, without Manage Roles you can't use addrole or removerole commands etc. The format for using the commands is simple:

dol.addrole <user> <@role>
dol.ban <user> [reason]
// Example command
dol.ban @helllover Abusing bot commands // This will ban the user for reason: Abusing bot commands
dol.help [command] // This will give information about a specific command or will show all the available commands when a command not included.

The syntax <argument> means that a specific argument is required for a command. [argument] means that you can exclude the argument and it will work fine with that.
